As you can probably tell, the site is under construction March 9, 2006

Whats going to make this website great? Well its going to be automated with
Wordpress. I can pretty much write my articles via email so that saves some
time. I’m trying to incorporate some ajax and nifty css in the design. Once
I get this design nailed down, I’ll leave it alone. I promise. At least till
I get bored of it again.
I’ve gone through so many iterations of my own personal website that I’m
trying to finalize the look with an automated system so I don’t really have
to touch it. Bare with me as I try to get the css design worked out for IE
and firefox. But I’m pretty busy at the moment trying to design book covers
and maintain some sort of family life.
The core look of the new design is being based of the wordpress theme
squible. I’m making some headway trying to udnerstand how they did their css
and layout so I can modify it to my own needs. I plan on adding some things
from the K2 theme to make it more beautiful and follow what appears to be
the “web 2.0″ look and feel.
What I’m doing lately? Well I’m working during the day at my day job as a
user interface designer here in Seattle. At night I get back into real
design doing book covers and illustration. I’ve really been getting into
illustration lately since I coupled my new laptop with a Intuos3 tablet. I
can’t believe I went so long without getting a tablet. It truly makes
drawing on the computer unbelievably easier.
What I plan to post on this website? I’m a web designer, graphic designer,
illustrator…you name it. I’ll be posting mostly things I know already
about web design and php programming as well as new things I learn. I’ll
also be posting some of my illustrations and designs as I complete them.
Should be a good showcase for me as well as for what I can do.
Thats all for now till I can get some more stuff added later.
